Terms of Service

My Life's Vault ("the service") is provided by Agile Fintech FZ-LLC, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates ("we", "us", "our"). Questions about these terms? Email concierge@mylifesvault.com.

• You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.
• You're responsible for keeping your password, passkeys and recovery codes secure. We strongly recommend enabling biometric sign-in or two-factor authentication.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of information you put into your vault — including legal documents such as wills.
• You may not use the service for anything unlawful, to impersonate another person, or to upload malware or content that infringes someone else's rights.

My Life's Vault helps you organise, store and share personal information with people you trust. We provide guidance, templates and AI assistance (Aria) but we are not a law firm, financial adviser, tax adviser or insurance broker. Outputs from the service — including generated wills, Faraid/Sharia inheritance summaries, and any AI-generated suggestions — are informational and do not constitute legal, financial, medical or tax advice. For binding advice, please consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

• Paid plans are billed in advance through our payments provider on the cadence you select (monthly or annual).
• You can cancel any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices on renewal with at least 30 days' notice.
• If a payment fails, we may downgrade or suspend the account after a grace period. Your data is retained per the retention rules in our Privacy Notice.

Anything you upload to your vault remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display it solely to operate the service for you and the people you have explicitly granted access to. We do not sell your content, share it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

Emergency contacts, witnesses, legacy recipients and partner advisers only see what you specifically allow, and only under the conditions you set (e.g. proof-of-life lapse, manual release, time window). You are responsible for keeping that list accurate.

The service helps you draft wills and coordinate witnesses, but whether a will is legally valid depends on your local law. You are responsible for executing your will in line with the requirements of your jurisdiction. Signed versions are immutable in the vault; edits create a new version that must be re-executed.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features, and may suspend or discontinue parts of the service with reasonable notice.

You can close your account at any time from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or are used unlawfully. On closure, your data is handled per our Privacy Notice (permanent erasure within 30 days, subject to legal retention).

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, goodwill or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any 12-month period will not exceed the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

My Life’s Vault™, including all trademarks, software, content, methodologies, documentation, workflows, and associated intellectual property, is owned by Kalpesh Desai. Agile Financial Technologies is authorised to operate, market, host, support, and distribute the platform under licence from the intellectual property owner.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (excluding free-zone arbitration unless mutually agreed). If you are a consumer in another country, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections under your local law.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date counts as acceptance.
